Vitamin C- is from Acerola Cherry a well-known fruit for being extremely rich in vitamin C. Because of this, it’s often used to help with or prevent colds or flu. It’s also used as an antioxidant nutrient. Together with vitamin C, acerola may be taken to boost immunity.
Vitamin D, Calcium, and Magnesium- are best taken together, as they work synergistically to support bone health. Calcium should ideally be taken with meals, as it is absorbed best in the presence of food. Magnesium supplements can be taken at any time of the day, and similarly to calcium, vitamin D is also best taken with food, particularly a meal containing fats as this vitamin is fat soluble.
Folate- Supports the development of their brain, as well as their digestive, nervous, and immune systems. Kids need folate to make red blood cells too.
Zinc- A mineral that is important for immune function, wound healing, and the senses of smell and taste.
